'Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it, you will land among the stars - Anon.'
My name is Rebecca Pooley. I am a children and family photographer, based in Conwy, North Wales (UK), and here's a little bit about me and my business.
I find it hard to sum myself up in a few words, but I'll give it a go - passionate, spiritual, full of creative beans, and I love my dog too much. I love animals and I love babies, if I could photograph them both together my life would be complete. My style as a person is fresh flowers, white walls, and a touch of beautiful colour to set the room off - with cute and quirky pieces that make you want to pick up the item to see more. I love sight seeing, weekends away to take as many photos as I can and clearing my mind with the beauty the world has to offer.
I choose not to work in a studio, opting to shoot outside, which enables me to make use of the beautiful countryside in North Wales. I believe in you get what you give out, so every client is important to me and I want to leave a lasting impression and an overall fun experience. Many of my clients return to me, and also recommend, which is what I wish to be able to do for everyone that I meet.
I have been truly blessed to be able to do the job that I do, I don't see this as 'work', this is part of my lifestyle and who I am. Getting to meet different people every day, and capture their little ones lives through the lens is such a rewarding job to have. I have been so lucky to meet some incredible people and made some great friends along the way. And for those that appreciate what I do give me even more of a boost to push myself and my business to the next level.
The Business
My business was established in 2013 after a discussion with my mum. I decided that "you only live once" and decided just to bite the bullet and give it a try! My first photography job was for my cousin, thus my passion and skills grew which led me to my love of children's photography. I'm a big child at heart with a lot of dedication, patience and passion for my work. I gradually started getting more bookings, so this is when I decided to start up Pretty Prints Photography, whilst also working at Dorothy Perkins. I now specialise in children and family photographs in the great outdoors. I absolutely love my job and the fact that I am able to capture precious and beautiful memories for my clients.
There is nothing more fulfilling than capturing images for families to last a lifetime.
